The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has announced the national rollout of the WorkWell scheme, designed to assist individuals with health conditions, including mental health challenges, in overcoming barriers to employment.

This voluntary programme offers support such as physiotherapy for mobility issues, mental health interventions like counselling, and ongoing health condition management.

While the initiative has been expanded to 250,000 participants, there is currently no published data on its effectiveness. The DWP has stated that outcome data will be available in due course.
